Book of the Week – Ender’s Game

Title: Ender’s Game
Author: Orson Scott Card
Genre: Science Fiction

Quick Summary: One of Orson Scott Card’s more well-known books, the first in the series.  It follows a young boy, Ender, as he enters Battle School and his trials and tribulations therein

What I Learned: A child can be devastatingly effective as a weapon or anything they put their minds to.  They have amazing potential.   Children try hard to please the ones they love and they can be surprisingly adult in their  emotions and cognitive abilities.  Don’t underestimate little kids.
