What I learned from life: 6/2/2007

I will never forget something my father taught me when I was very young.  The lesson has stuck with me for many many years.  He said:

“Whenever you fall, get up.  Whenever you fail, keep going.  Sure you’re going to feel bad, you’re going to want to cry, you’re going to be mad.  It doesn’t matter, though.  Get up and keep going.”

That has served me both good and bad over the years.  But, I will never forget that lesson from childhood.

We must be careful what we teach out children because the lessons we teach them may stay with them and influence them all their lives.
